Product Features
This is a full-metal chronograph from the analog E100 Eseries, developed in the spirit of the original G-SHOCK model, the “DW-5000C. E
Featuring a stainless steel case and bezel, it retains the octagonal bezel shape first seen on the DW-5000C, which debuted in 1983.
By incorporating a Fine Resin cushioning material between the bezel and the case, it achieves a shock-resistant structure through its metal exterior.
The bezel undergoes a labor-intensive process of forging, cutting, and polishing to create a three-dimensional shape, with the top surface finished with a circular hairline pattern and the beveled edges polished to a mirror finish.
The indices and sub-dial rings feature delicate detailing achieved through micro-machining, and a high-quality finish is achieved through vapor deposition.
The band uses a “Tough Silicone Band, Ewhich combines a soft, comfortable silicone core with a urethane outer layer to enhance wear resistance.
The underside of the urethane is finished with a gunmetal vapor deposition, while the surface features a hairline finish to harmonize with the full-metal case.
By incorporating a slim, high-performance module using high-density packaging technology, we have achieved a slim profile.
We have also paid close attention to ensuring a comfortable fit.
Using Bluetooth® connectivity, it connects to a dedicated app to retrieve time information and keeps accurate time.
It also features practical functions such as Tough Solar and a high-brightness LED light.
