A motor-direct mirror drive system is adopted. The mirror is decelerated just before impact to suppress mirror bounce. A new link mechanism has been developed to precisely link the movement of the main mirror and sub-mirror. By reducing the delay between the main mirror drive and the sub-mirror drive, the drive speed and AF accuracy have been improved.
