Smooth focus movement is achieved by using a lead screw type STM. Comfortable autofocusing is possible for both still and movie shooting.

- Macro shooting function with distinctive bokeh Center Focus Macro

Center Focus Macro" enables a minimum focusing distance of 0.13m and a maximum magnification of 0.5x at the wide end when using manual focus (MF). This function allows the photographer to get closer to the subject at the wide end and enjoy an image with a large blur at the periphery.

The "Focus/Control Ring" combines the functions of the focus ring and control ring into one ring. The ring can be switched depending on how you use the camera, and the control system has been designed with careful consideration.
