This diagonal fisheye lens offers the unique expressiveness of a fisheye lens and high resolving power throughout the entire image from wide-open to wide-open. The performance of the lens is guaranteed by Sigma's unique MTF measuring instrument.

- High resolving power and point image reproducibility from wide open to the entire image

Luxurious lens construction with 21 elements in 15 groups including 4 FLDs, 3 SLDs, and 2 aspherical lenses made of special low-dispersion glass. By correcting sagittal coma flare and other aberrations well, the lens achieves high resolution and point image reproducibility that can withstand star photography from wide open to the entire image.

The powerful distortion effect that is the charm of fisheye lenses allows photographers to enjoy a unique perspective and emphasis on the subject at an angle of view of 180°. In addition, the SIGMA 15mm F1.4 DG DN DIAGONAL FISHEYE Art is designed to the strict standards of the Art line in terms of performance. In addition, all lenses are tested using SIGMA's proprietary MTF measuring equipment. To prevent flare and ghosting, which reduce image quality, we have taken countermeasures against all conditions of incident light based on the most advanced simulation technology. High backlight resistance enables clear and sharp images under any lighting conditions.

The camera is equipped with various functions to assist shooting, including an AFL button*1 to which any function can be assigned and an aperture ring, and a linear motor HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) AF actuator for fast, quiet, and highly accurate AF shooting. The camera has a dustproof and drip-proof construction*2 to ensure high weather resistance and robustness, and has a high build quality that allows for long and reliable use in any environment.

- Various shooting assist functions

The camera is equipped with an AFL button to which any function can be assigned. In addition to the aperture ring, the camera is equipped with an aperture ring lock switch and a click switch to turn the aperture ring on and off.

Dustproof and drip-proof construction with water and stain repellent coating

In addition to the dustproof and drip-proof body, the front-most surface of the lens is coated with a water and dirt repellent coating, allowing photographers to shoot safely even in harsh outdoor environments.

- Adoption of linear motor HLA

A linear motor HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) is used as the AF actuator. The high-thrust motor and advanced electronic control enable the focus lens to operate at high speed and with high precision, providing comfortable AF shooting.

To support the heavy optical system and enhance robustness and reliability, metal parts are used in key parts of the body. On the other hand, lightweight engineering plastic TSC* is also used in appropriate places to reduce weight.
