From the Manta series, we introduce the OCW-S6000PB, which pursues luxury with its uniquely developed cut sapphire glass bezel, based on the design concept of "Platinum Blue."
The most distinctive feature is the beautifully luxurious sapphire glass bezel.
To maximize the beauty of the bezel, an advanced cutting technique was uniquely developed for OCEANUS.
The transparent sapphire glass is carefully polished with 12 facet (outer shape) cuts and 60 concave (concave) cuts.
The complex refraction of light maximizes its brilliance.
The blue and silver gradation represents the dazzling platinum light shining on the horizon where the clear blue sky meets the vast ocean.
The sky and sea are expressed on the top and bottom of the bezel with blue vapor deposition. The dazzling light of the horizon is expressed in a warm silver tone through a platinum gradient vapor deposition technique.
By employing a sub-dial solar power system, a translucent dial is unnecessary, resulting in a highly vibrant dial finish that highlights the beauty of white.
Various coloring techniques are used to create different textures of OCEANUS blue, including light-transmitting blue vapor deposition on the sub-dials, blue sputtering on the 12 o'clock index, blue anodizing on the second hand, and blue paint on the sub-dials, resulting in an elegant dial with a vivid contrast.
In terms of functionality, it features standard radio wave reception, Bluetooth® smartphone linking, and world time.
These high-performance features are housed in a slim 9.2mm case, achieving a thin and beautiful form.
Limited to 600 pieces worldwide, the serial number is laser-engraved on the case back.
