INTRODUCTION--------------------

Manga artist Kohei Horikoshi's “My Hero Academia,” a.k.a. “Hero Academia,” has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. In a world where everyone has some kind of supernatural ability or “personality,” the story is about the protagonist, Deku Midoriya (a.k.a. “Deku”), who has no personality, and aims to become the best hero he can be.
The series has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide (as of March 2025), and will be completed in August 2024. The popularity of the series has continued to grow, and the anime series and other media mixes continue to be loved by many people.

To commemorate the conclusion of “Hero Academia,” the “Kohei Horikoshi ”My Hero Academia“ Original Drawings Exhibition” will be held to allow visitors to experience the 10-year history and progress of the series.

The exhibition will feature Horikoshi's handwritten manuscripts with commentary, as well as materials from the digital drawing process, and an original photo spot. A number of original goods commemorating the exhibition will also be on sale.

Throughout the serialization of this work, Mr. Horikoshi has always aimed to “shock readers with his drawings” and has continued to evolve his outstanding drawing skills. We hope you will visit the exhibition to experience his passion for “Hiroaka” and the amount of enthusiasm he has put into it.
