G-SHOCK Full Metal Series Blue Model
- Since its birth in 1983, G-SHOCK has pursued toughness. This Full Metal Series features a vibrant blue face.
- The GMW-B5000D's glass surface features a metallic blue vapor deposition coating, harmonizing with the stainless steel bezel and band.
- To achieve a shock-resistant structure with full metal construction, a fine resin buffer is implemented between the bezel and case.
Additionally, the band connection uses a three-prong structure to disperse impact forces on the connecting pipe.
The metal band pieces feature a dimpled finish, inheriting the design of the original resin band.
The case back employs a screw-back design for superior airtightness.
- The stainless steel bezel undergoes labor-intensive forging, cutting, and polishing processes to achieve its three-dimensional form. The top surface features a hairline finish, while the beveled edges are beautifully mirror-polished.
