Product Features
This is a full metal chronograph of the analog “2100” series, which was developed based on the concept of the first G-SHOCK model “DW-5000C”.
The case, bezel, and band are made of stainless steel, while the octagonal bezel shape and dimple design of the band, which were also used in the DW-5000C model created in 1983, have been inherited.
A fine resin cushioning material is mounted between the bezel and case to enable shock-resistant construction with a metal exterior.
The bezel is formed three-dimensionally through a time-consuming forging, cutting, and polishing process, and beautifully finished with a circumferential hairline on the top surface and mirror polishing on the slopes.
The indexes and the inner dial ring are delicately formed by microfabrication technology and vapor-deposited for a high quality finish.
The screw-lock crown is designed in the same octagonal shape as the bezel.
This design contributes to the miniaturization of the watch while maintaining its shock resistance.
High-density mounting technology has been used to realize a slim and highly functional module, resulting in a low profile.
The design is also designed to be comfortable to wear.
Bluetooth(R) communication connects the watch to a dedicated application, acquires time information, and keeps accurate time.
The watch is also equipped with practical functions such as tough solar power and a high-intensity LED light.
