The MR-G series is G-SHOCK's top-of-the-line series.
The MRG-B2000 inherits the strength and aesthetic sense of ancient Japan, with meticulous attention to detail in its structure, function, materials, and finish.
Designed with the traditional Japanese color "Kurogane-iro" (iron color) as its theme, the deep blue-green color that appears when iron, the material used for armor, is expressed in the titanium exterior, which has undergone deep hardening treatment and green DLC coating.
The MRG-B2000BG features a heavy-duty solid titanium band, which is also coated with green DLC.
The outer edge of the dial features cut surfaces inspired by fans and folding screens, adding a simple yet elegant texture.
Furthermore, the indices feature beautiful edges and curved surfaces processed using Yamagata Casio's micro-machining technology, expressing the curvature of a sword.
In terms of functionality, it supports radio wave reception and Bluetooth(R) communication for smartphone connectivity, making it highly practical. The MR-G features a dedicated module with gold plating on the circuit retaining plate to reduce electrical resistance.
Furthermore, meticulous attention to detail has been paid to strength and quality, including Zaratsu polishing, double hardening treatment, and anti-reflective coated sapphire glass.
