WHAT IS "JOJO"

The series began in 1987 in Shonen Jump. It is a very popular comic that originated in Japan. It is a world-famous title, not only for its comics, but also for having been adapted into an anime, a movie, and a video game.

What are the highlights of "JOJO"?

The story is about a lineage that is passed down from generation to generation, and the protagonist changes from one generation to the next. The story begins with the relationship between Jonathan Joestar, the protagonist of the first part, and his adversary, Dio Brando. The battle is not settled only in Jonathan's generation, but continues for more than 100 years, involving his descendants as well. That is the reason why the protagonists and the setting change.
