A Demoness or an Angel?

The series Overlord is about Momonga, a boy who was so obsessed with the game YGGDRASIL that when it was scheduled to be shut down, he remained logged in the game until the very last minute and got stuck in the game.

He tried every way possible to log out, but it didn't work; it was no longer just an online game for him but a survival game. He was transported to an entirely new world and had to survive. Therefore he started his journey to search for people like him or someone who could help him.

Albedo, one of the main protagonists of Overlord and a succubus, is as epic as the whole series. It's interesting how her character is visibly feminine, but her fighting skills are also admirable at the same time.

Although she's a high-rank demoness, her elegance, gentle smile, and impeccable beauty always cause many people to mistake her for a goddess or an angel. That mistake might sound ridiculous, but judging by how appropriate she acts, it does make sense.

However, it is proper to view her that way. Albedo was initially planned to be a high-ranking angel, but since a monster from the land of dreams fused her and she was left with a horribly distorted appearance, she now has a twisted personality.

Despite her merciless and cunning nature as a demoness, she is extremely loyal and clingy towards Momonga because she's madly in love with him. She's also so protective of him that she can quickly go mad if he gets hurt or with attacks that wouldn't even hurt him.

Overall, she's quite a fascinating character, and I'm looking forward to seeing more from this demon lady.
